Who We Are

Mission: To bridge the hunger gap in Koochiching County one step at a time in a positive and respectful environment.

Falls Hunger Coalition is a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing food insecurity in the Falls area, typically in a region of the United States. The organization works to provide food assistance to families and individuals in need, ensuring that no one in the community goes hungry. Its programs focus on both immediate food relief and long-term solutions to food access, aiming to reduce hunger and improve the overall well-being of the community.

The Falls Hunger Coalition was founded in response to a growing need for food assistance in the local community, as the number of individuals and families facing economic challenges increased. The coalition was established by a group of concerned citizens, faith-based organizations, and community leaders who wanted to create a collaborative network to provide resources to those in need.

What We Do

Over time, the coalition has expanded its reach, offering food pantries, meal programs, and nutritional support for families, seniors, children, and others struggling with food insecurity. The organization also often partners with local businesses, schools, and other nonprofits to address the root causes of hunger, raise awareness, and advocate for policies that support food access and sustainability.

Today, Falls Hunger Coalition remains a vital part of the community, continually adapting to meet the needs of its residents. By providing immediate relief and working to eliminate barriers to food access, the coalition plays a key role in ensuring that individuals and families in the Falls area have the resources they need to thrive.
