

Who We Are
Mission: To have available free advocacy services for victims of sexual violence along with their families and friends, with the ultimate purpose of preventing this type of crime through awareness and education.
The Sexual Assault Program of Northern St. Louis County has been devoted to providing advocacy services and education to the Iron Range and surrounding communities since 1984. Our 5,400 square mile service area includes communities north from Virginia to Ely, south to Cotton, West to Nashwauk, and East to Hoyt Lakes along with all rural areas in between.
What We Do
Direct advocacy services include: 24 hour crisis intervention, medical exam accompaniment, police and protocol interview accompaniment, assistance through court processes, assistance in filing a legal Order for Protection or Harassment Restraining Order, and ongoing victim support services.
