Hoyt Lakes Fire & EMS Department

Mission: To protect and ensure the safety of the community through fire prevention and Emergency Medical Services.

The Hoyt Lakes Fire and EMS Department is a volunteer-based organization committed to safeguarding the community through fire prevention, suppression, and emergency medical services. Led by Fire Chief Tony House and EMS Director Melanie Olmstead, the department operates from their office on Dorchester Drive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fire Prevention and Control: Implementing measures to prevent fires and effectively managing fire incidents to protect life and property.
• Emergency Medical Services (EMS): Providing emergency medical care and transportation to individuals in need.
• Community Safety: Engaging in activities that promote the safety and well-being of the community.
